Visitors can also enjoy the award-winning Pitmedden Garden Tearoom, with views overlooking the stunning grounds. Hosting regular summer events and an annual art exhibition of local artist's work, there is plenty to do for all.

For those who appreciate whisky, Glen Garioch Distillery in Oldmeldrum is a must-visit. Established in 1797, it’s one of Scotland's oldest operating distilleries in Scotland and has been producing its distinctive Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky for over two centuries. Visitors can enjoy guided tours, cask tastings and even a Whisky & Cheese Tasting Experience, all just a short drive from Pitmedden.

A little closer to home is Still Whisky, which is only a 2 minute drive away. This charming whisky shop and tasting room invites visitors to sample local single malts and learn about the rich distilling traditions of Aberdeenshire.

Also located in Ellon is the world-famous BrewDog Brewery, home to craft beer lovers from around the globe. At the DogTap taproom, visitors can sample freshly brewed pints, tour the brewery and enjoy an exciting atmosphere that captures the spirit of innovation and community.
