What is the interior design of the showhome like?
Working on their fifth Kirkwood showhome this year, Thomas Fischer Interiors brought their creative flair once again to bring another stunning showhome to life, with styling that impeccably showcases ‘The Gullane’s exceptional features.
When developing the design concept for the showhome, one of the lead designers, Ollie said; “We followed our usual process and looked at the local area for inspiration. The site is within a beautiful forest area in Royal Deeside, so we've incorporated forest greens in the colour palette and then introduced a touch of claret with a Scottish, country feel throughout, so it's quite traditional but reinterpreted in a contemporary way.”
One of the most striking features of ‘The Gullane’ is its vast kitchen, dining and family area, and was a crucial space to consider when designing the showhome. Ollie said; “This is definitely the space that you can really live in - it’s so big! We've styled it with a large corner sofa to create a cosy family area, and then we've added a huge bespoke 12 seater dining table in the main section of the room. This space is definitely the hub of the home where everybody can come together every day or for big family gatherings.”
