An abundance of internal storage space is imperative to keep a household tidy and organised, regardless of the property size. Whether you’re single, a couple or have a family, storage space is a must have when searching for a new home, and a benefit not to be taken for granted.
The benefits of storage space
With ample storage space throughout our homes, you can instantly reduce the build-up of clutter and everyday items that naturally accumulate over time.
At Kirkwood, each home is designed with the customer in mind. We know that having additional storage to easily tidy away items is a not only a desirable feature but a must-have for many families.
Our built-in wardrobes allow for more usable floor space within bedrooms and negate the need for bulky furniture, while linen closets offer a practical solution for keeping bedding or towels tidied away, yet close to hand.
Ground floor cupboards are ideal for tidying away outdoor garments, or for storing toys and equipment. Many of our utility rooms have additional storage too - allowing cleaning and laundry supplies to remain tidy and organised - with a number of our larger housetypes benefitting from a larger cupboard in this area, ideal to utilise as a pantry.
What our customers say
With her two children ready to fly the nest, our Financial Controller, Fiona decided it was time to downsize and made her move into the beautiful 3 bedroom detached ‘Craig’ at our peaceful ‘Cowdray Meadows’ development in Dunecht. One of the her favourite features of the home was the ample amount of storage space available:
“All the room sizes are ideal, the bedrooms all have built-in wardrobes and there are further storage cupboards to keep everyday items out of sight!”
- Fiona Grant, Kirkwood's Financial Controller and customer
