Kirkwood Homes Appoints New Land Director
Luxury house builder Kirkwood Homes has appointed Allan Rae as land director.
With over 20 years of planning and development experience, Allan joins the firm from Knight Frank Aberdeen, where he was partner, planning and development, working on a wide range of planning projects across the north east. Graduating from Newcastle University as a chartered town planner, he previously spent nine years with Scottish Enterprise Grampian and also held a range of positions in local government.
Allan, who is a member of Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and current Convener of the RTPI Grampian Chapter, will lead a number of Kirkwood’s major strategic projects including Kintore, Laurencekirk and Ellon, and the delivery of a range of immediate opportunities coming to the market
He said: “This is an exciting new opportunity for me and I am looking forward to working as part of the Kirkwood team to grow the business and ensure that we take advantage of the development opportunities arising within the region in the next few years.”
